Harbour Steps is an iconic project in the heart of Seattle: a grand public staircase connecting 1st Avenue with 2nd Avenue, integrated into a larger urban regeneration and hospitality intervention.

Created to connect two levels of the city, Harbour Steps is much more than just a pedestrian link: it is a true inhabited plaza, a place of passage and pause, of perspectives and meeting points, where water, stone and concrete dialogue with the daily movement of the metropolis.

Domos’ contribution was instrumental in the redefinition phase of the project. The supply was shaped on the design evolutions in progress, with great flexibility and adaptability. The workings required a very high level of customization, both technical and aesthetic.

A chameleon-like work that evolved along with the architecture and met the functional, aesthetic and logistical needs of a large contemporary public space.

In 2018, prior to the major expansion, the interior galleries were completely renovated inspired by the mid-20th century modernist style.

cIn the heart of one of the world’s most iconic department stores, Domos signs a supply that combines craftsmanship savoir-faire and architectural vision.

We are on the 5th floor of Harrods, in the famous “Shoes Heaven”: a space of over 3,900 m² dedicated to high-end footwear, designed by David Collins studio in collaboration with Deferranti.

In this exclusive environment, every detail, from the flooring to the columns, is designed to amplify the luxury experience. The custom-cut floor creates a radial optical illusion that guides the eye and enhances the space with elegance and theatricality.

In one of Victoria’s most iconic buildings, Domos has helped shape a new idea of contemporary living. The historic Westminster Fire Station, an Edwardian gem listed as a Grade II listed building, has been transformed into an exclusive collection of 17 boutique apartments and a landmark restaurant.

The project, designed by James Lee Design for the exterior spaces and Studio L for the interiors, enhances the character of London architecture by combining it with material elements with a strong visual and sensory impact. In this setting, Domos surfaces become a natural extension of the creative vision.
