Westminster fire station, London
An elegant dialogue between past and present
In one of Victoria’s most iconic buildings, Domos has helped shape a new idea of contemporary living. The historic Westminster Fire Station, an Edwardian gem listed as a Grade II listed building, has been transformed into an exclusive collection of 17 boutique apartments and a landmark restaurant.
The project, designed by James Lee Design for the exterior spaces and Studio L for the interiors, enhances the character of London architecture by combining it with material elements with a strong visual and sensory impact. In this setting, Domos surfaces become a natural extension of the creative vision.
The project
Each room tells a story in which the architecture of the past meets the design freedom of the present, and where natural stone is not simply a finish, but the true protagonist of design.
